ABOUT ME

I started writing in the seventh grade. Just short stories and a little poetry. My english teacher made me read a short piece about a pirate in front of the class. Theya all laughed and I shut down. I didn't pick up the pen and write again until  the early nineties when i penned a short piece, . The story of Betty Butler stayed in my mond for years. She was my nieghbor in the West End of Cincinnati, Ohio and I wanted to know what really happened as it was a very traumatic incedent in our community. I came back to Cincinnati, found the transcript and wrote Jazz On A Broken Piano.

Centered in the West End, Jazz made me realize there was no definative book about The West End, it's people, places or it's song. Cincinnati's West End was my next book.

While writing about life in The West End, I touched lightly on the Numbers Racket, but I wanted to tell the complete story. Bankers, Writers And Runners became my third book with a West End connection.

Taking a break from the West End, I delved into my memories and created characters and an intriguing story that took the reader around the world and back to look for the meaning of the only clue to murder, CP and In The Lives Of Snakes And Chameleons was born..

Harshaw House continues to be a place of creativity for future compelling books
